The map is the quality we have come to expect from Holbs. Amazing.
I thoroughly enjoyed my quick bash around that I had on this map. It has great scenery and logging roads.
Author Comments:
This is a PURE LOGGING MAP for the latest stable of Spintires.  There’s rough roads, narrow roads, smooth trails, deep water, drop-offs, switchbacks, etc.  There’s enough here to keep you guys busy playing for a while.  It took approx. 2 months to complete and I think it turned out just right.
This map was not designed, nor recommended for beginners. Â It’s a tough, pure logging map with multiple objectives, Â narrow roads in the hills and abundant, treeless “trails” across the river to conquer. Â There are no cloakings…I didn’t think they were necessary. Â Also, this map was created for play using stock (vanilla) trucks. Â It is recommended you do just that.
Please let me know what you think and if you find any MAJOR problems, let me know those too.

Note: The map graphic above somehow is upside down and backwards. Use the F1 key in-game for the map. There is a “N” (North) arrow on the map to help you keep it in the correct position.
Enjoy !!

Aug 22, 2017 5:31 pmNot too bad, some of the traps are just too much for some of the vehicles, at this stage I’ve two objectives completed but two trucks have not delivered a single log, like I’ve enough attempts made to have finished the map. 🙂
I like this type of map though, well made and one can explore, not bound to a narrow path.
One issue, and I don’t know where it lies, but I cannot recover logs in a rollover.

As with my West Fork Canyon map, in Eagle’s Nest I created two distinct areas…one with the normal roads, trails, etc. and the other with “basically free-roaming” areas.
It seems you are not the only player who enjoys this type of map, so I will try to incorporate the two in many of the future maps I do.
As for “traps” – I never intended any traps in the map. Some areas are much tougher to get through than others. I’ll agree to that.
…and on on the “recovering logs” concern, I do not have an answer for this.

Jan 27, 2019 12:52 pmI ran this map approx. 25-35 times and never was I unable to use the bridge in question….BUT, I did find what you meant. It seems the South end of the SW bridge is slightly higher than the other side. I did not plan this. I don’t know what truck you were trying to use, but the vanilla trucks crossed over many times for me just fine.
