Spintires Map – Canyonlands

Author – Rust-n-Steel

Editors Notes:

This is quite a different map. It’s not a great trailing or logging map but it something kinda in-between. I really enjoy all the detail and the way how he used a sandy texture for the ground. All in all the map is actually quite decent.

Author Description:

Modeled after two areas local to where I live, the Rio Puerco offroad desert and the Lookout Peak playground in the Sandia Mountains, New Mexico. A mix of desert, swamp, rocks and forest. Mostly casual trails with a few challenge areas in place. One objective available on the map, an unlockable garage, a few vehicles to unlock and some cloaked areas to uncover. First map I’ve done so it has a few rough spots. Uses basic Spintires resources only.

Features of Map:

Garages – 1
Trucks at Spawn – 2 (two different spawn points)
Fuel Stations – 2
Objectives – 1
Lumber Points – 8 (Manual loading only)
Cloaks – 8
Requires Spintires + – Yes (built while using Spintires +, unsure if it works without it)

    Nice enough map but:

Vehicles get stuck in the map. That is stuck IN the map not stuck on the surface and cannot be rescued ~

This map is very good! I liked it a lot.
It wasn’t super hard but gave me a challenge in some spots.
    Enjoyed it.
