Hello there visitors of this site.
As you may or may not have noticed Spin Tires received a new update to version 23.10.15
This means two things. 1) Mods cannot be put into the new update.
2) Maps cannot be put into the new update.
That may seem to be disastrous but you have, if you look in your steam client, two options. Full and Legacy. The Legacy is the version before the 23.10.15 update and will be able to run all the current mods and maps available. Work is underway to update mods
and maps soon with the help of converter tools.
** Update 11-2-16
All of the latest_stable maps have been edited to change AlbedoMap to DiffuseMap so now all objects that were white should now be not so white 😉
** Update 2-2-16
Thanks to MadPower we now have a solution to objects going white. Open the xml files for these objects and change Albedomap to DiffuseMap. Im going to try and do this for all the level files asap. If you want to help out by doing this edit and then providing me with a download link for the edited map (all files) that would be great.
** Update 30-1-16
Uploaded a 109 upgraded level files using the new converter. All level files named latest_stable are now good to use in the latest_stable version of the game. I did not have time to check them all out. If any levels have objects that are white instead of textured let me know by posting a comment.
** Update 28-1-16
Due to personal circumstances no progress on updating mods. BUT i can tell you map updating is going to take place asap, fewer files and easier done. When i say in this post all maps have been updated assume all latest_stable files to be playable in the *drumroll* latest_stable version. Mods will be done after that.
** Update 28-10-15
A Mod Converter is being build and field testing is underway. These are two screenshots of two trucks converted to the new xml standards etc. The converter is not finished yet, considered Alpha, but it is looking very promising.

I was thinking the other day on how Spin Tires has been updated and came up with and idea you guys should think about integrating into the game, I was thinking how The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has for its mods the player just has to click on a subscribe button to that persons mod instead of trying to work the mod into the game.

I installed some Vehicals and some Maps all with the pprefix latest stable but non of them are working?
I deleted the Folder in appdata
Do i miss read something or do you have an guide?

It seems that there was mod backwards compatibility added in the latest update today for me. I still have yet to test it.
