You have been recently hired as a truck driver by a local logging company in a small, back-in-the-woods city located in the center of the Great State of West Virginia, USA. Your boss gives you the keys to a small utility vehicle (A-469) to drive around and become familiar with the area before starting on your job the next day. Everything is new and unfamiliar to you (…cloakings), so you decide to set off to see what you can discover. From talking to other co-workers, you find out the Main Garage for company trucks has been shut down for repair.
The first part of your new job will to be to collect enough repair points to get the Garage up and running again and then discover all the “Cloaks”. You were warned that you must drive carefully around here because there isn’t any place to get your vehicle repaired until the garage is open and running again.
So, you set off….but which way to go???
From the Author:
I began this map back when the editor was really “funky”, but now that it’s working the way it should, I decided to revive the map and complete it.
West Virginia is my home, so I thought it would be nice if I did a map dedicated to my state. West Virginia and Spintires are made for each other. In this map, there is no mud, nor soft dirt to bog you down because I think the hills and “hollers” will be enough for you to handle. All of the roads and trails have been tested, climbable and driveable. I’ve added extra “winching points” to use for those hills which can really be tough for fully loaded lumber trucks. Plus, there is 1 Kiosk Station for players who prefer them to standard Lumber Stations.
I hope you enjoy playing this map as much as I enjoyed creating it. I personally, think it turned out pretty well for my 2nd published map. Please leave your comments on here as to it’s “pros and cons” and what you think of this map. The more comments I get, the more maps I will create.
