For those of you who also visit the forum on this site this is not a new map. For those who do not visit the forum meet Moab Utah, a fine map with lots of challenges to overcome.
Word from the author:
This map was started as a google earth rendition by hand and slowly degraded to its current state as barely recognizable.
Winching to a minimum – Hell’s revenge trail is passable using a jeep or crawler with at least 38″ tires and a high mounted snorkel. (very difficult)
No winch – Potato Salad Hill is passable with luck also with a crawler. (Difficult) In real life this hill is attempted both up and down with few success and many roll overs of every type of vehicle.
Using the Certified trucks would be almost impossible to pass these trails.
Similarities with Moab, Utah include an unrecognizable model of “Lions Back” which is a large few hundred foot tall sandstone fin which in real life you can drive up and turn around and drive back down, to the left of the gas station at start up.
“Hell’s revenge trail” that runs on the side of Lions Back and “Potato Salad Hill” to the far left bottom corner of the map is fairly accurate. Also barely discernible is “The Wall” also known as “Bump Dump” that starts the Hell’s revenge trail.
Where it differs: pretty much any tree doesn’t really exist in real life, therefore no logging in real life. The Ship would never be there because of the fact Utah is in the middle of the USA surrounded by desert and sandstone. The river does actually exist but not the river on the Hell’s revenge trail, unless of course there was a flash flood which does happen sometimes. And the lake in the middle with the crazy bridge and water fall was an experiment so it don’t really exist either.

Feb 15, 2016 7:46 pmif you follow JSW’s link, theres a “please donate”
Spintires.nl
Feb 15, 2016 10:13 pmAh THAT link which is not THIS website. It’s a donate button. Relax, it is not like he says he wants you to buy it. The donate button is there to show your thanks in a other way besides saying thank you. I add donate button to mods and maps on this site as wel on request. Same reason, it gives user who really enjoy a map or mod a way to expres their gratitude in a other way. Nothing more then that, so relax.

Thanks for the website and the support.
Techno Delta,
The map-
Hey man I apologize about the low quality of the map, as a matter of fact that’s my first attempt at any map. I really love Moab too. I was happy that I was able to halfway figure out the dang buggy editor in my very spare free time in the first place.
Donate this-
No ones donated by the way…didn’t expect it. Frankly don’t care.
Get a real truck-
Thanks for the honest comments!

Apr 07, 2016 7:35 amWe need to see more maps based on real life trails like this. I know ST is a logging simulator but I usually play with my friend for basically an offroading simulator after losing my Cherokee.
